TRG sponsors the IT and Banking conference held
at Avari Towers, Karachi

TRG was the proud sponsor of the IT and Banking conference organized by PSEB and the State Bank of Pakistan, and fully supported by P@SHA. The conference was held on May 28, 2011 at Avari Towers, Karachi.  The objective of the conference was to initiate meaningful dialogue between leaders from the banking sector and local IT companies that are actively engaged in providing solutions and services to the banking sector. The CEOs/Presidents and CIOs/CFOs of leading banks and selected IT companies attended the event.

The conference focused on discussions regarding the issues and opportunities for the Pakistani IT companies in the banking sector as well as the concerns of, and recommendations for, the IT industry. Rahim Lalani, Executive Director TRG, and Fahad Shameem, Director Sales and Business Development, attended the event.
 
TRG displayed its various offerings (Contact Centers, Managed IT Services, and Software Technology) at the event and TRG representatives (Babar Pervez, Business Manager Banking, and Fahad Farooq, Account Manager) got a chance to interact with various leaders in the banking sector. As a result of this event, we are expecting banks to be more responsive to the local IT industry and hence, we are looking forward to sponsoring similar events in the future.
