TRG sponsors the IT and Banking conference held at Avari Towers, Karachi

TRG was the proud sponsor of the IT and Banking conference organized by PSEB and the State Bank of Pakistan, and fully supported by P@SHA. The conference was held on May 28, 2011 at Avari Towers, Karachi. The objective of the conference was to initiate meaningful dialogue between leaders from the banking sector and local IT companies that are actively engaged in providing solutions and services to the banking sector. The CEOs/Presidents and CIOs/CFOs of leading banks and selected IT companies attended the event.

The First Ever Pakistan Web Awards

The first ever Pakistan Web Awards were held on 12th March, 2011. This event was patronized by renowned authorities in the software development arena, like PSEB and P@SHA, and attended by the IT minister of Sindh, Raza Haroon, as chief guest. Websites developed by TRG/trg tech were nominated in six different categories, out of which we received undisputed recognition in three areas.

TRG’s Ongoing Efforts for Flood Relief

The recent floods in the Northern areas of Pakistan have caused immense destruction and devastation. The magnitude of this calamity is yet to be realized, the damage yet to be overcome. One such catastrophic blow was suffered by the citizens of Batagram (located in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwan) when the bridge linking Batagram city to the other side of the Swat River collapsed.

14 August 2010 - TRG's campaign for Flood Relief

The Resource Group (TRG) management has actively participated in extending financial support for rehabilitation in flood-struck areas of Pakistan.

3-5 May 2010 – Managed IT Services launched at Connect 2010

TRG introduced its Managed IT Infrastructure Services to the domestic market at Connect IT Exhibition and Conference 2010 at Karachi Expo Center.

Mr.Raza Haroon, Minister of Information Technology, Government of Sindh, inaugurated TRG’s new purpose built, state-of-the-art facility for contact center and back-office BPO operations. The premises situated in DHA Phase 1, Korangi Road, Karachi,  has 800 seats with an expansion capacity of up to 1,000 seats in total.

26 March 2010 – TRG Recruitment Drive at IBA

The Resource Group (TRG) conducted one of the biggest recruitment drives at the Institute of Business Administration for the Analyst Strategy Group. Rahim Lalani, VP and Head of trg tech, delivered a dynamic presentation to an auditorium packed to capacity with 350 enthusiastic IBA undergraduates, introducing the programme to “cause disruptive change”.

21 November 2009 – trg tech participation at BRAND WARS

trg tech was invited to participate in the Brand Wars competition at this year’s LUMS Marketing Colloquium. The purpose of Brand Wars was to provide students with the opportunity to apply branding knowledge to a real-life case, and to meet and interact with industry professionals.

24 August 2009 - TRG’S call center services make home remittances convinient for overseas Pakistanis

As part of its strategy to boost home remittances, the State Bank of Pakistan has formally launched the Pakistan Remittance Initiative (PRI). The initiative aims to be truly responsive to foreign exchange remittance needs of Overseas Pakistanis by providing them with a call center facility for convenience and speed of service.
