trg tech @ TechElite 2010

TechElite is an annual event organized by the CIS department of NED University which provides students from IT universities across Pakistan the opportunity to showcase their aptitude and talent through competitions and projects. trg tech participated in TechElite’10 by sponsoring the intense Speed Programming competition.  Student groups from all over the country battled it out in a race against time to solve challenging programming problems.

An attractive stall was set up which caught the attention of passers-by and trg tech members kept visitors engaged by playing mind games and answering queries. Several students stopped to inquire about opportunities at trg tech and met with our engineers who volunteered to be part of the event. A session was also conducted for students to spread awareness about the different innovative work that is being done at the firm.  Rahim Lalani, Head of trg tech, visited the event and took a tour of the competitions, appreciating the hard work, effort and original ideas of the participants. He congratulated the winners at the closing ceremony and awarded them prizes. Ms. Jehan Ara, President P@SHA, was the chief guest.

Events such as TechElite give young, brilliant minds the opportunity to shine and show the vitality of the growing IT sector. trg tech continues to support these endeavours in order to shape Pakistan’s future technology space.
