trg tech sponsorship of UET-ACM Brainiac Event

A two-day event ‘Brainiac’ was held at the University of Engineering & Technology Lahore by the ACM Society on December 19th and 20th, 2009. The event, sponsored by trg tech, comprised of coding, quizzes and presentation competitions as well as workshops on hacking and coding. Students from NUCES – Lahore, LUMS, GCU, COMSAT, PUCIT and Kinniard College participated, and in terms of exposure to students and the opportunity to network with members of the academia, the event as a whole was a resounding success. trg tech set up a stall in the morning and had a busy day distributing mind games and answering questions about some of our technologies and products. The students were basically given an idea about the culture and work at tech.

The organizers did a great job with the arrangements, with trg tech branded banners hanging in the auditorium and main building. The team was well received and the event helped in creating a great deal of goodwill between the company as an employer, and the university students as future engineers. trg tech hopes to sponsor other upcoming university events, and looks forward to strengthening the bond between the company and universities, branding trg tech as one of the premier employers of top tech talent in the country.
