Head of trg tech speaks at Young Leaders’ Conference
VP & Head of trg tech, Rahim Lalani conducted a workshop to an energetic audience of future leaders at the Young Leaders’ Conference (YLC) held at the Karachi Sheraton. The topic of the session was “What will it take to put Pakistan on the face of the map as a technological giant?” The interactive and intellectually stimulating session received a tremendous response from the participants and made them realize the opportunities and responsibilities that lie ahead for them.
The nature of the Tech industry in Pakistan, its perceptions, opportunities and obstacles were discussed, and what is required to improve its image and condition. Towards the end of the workshop an intense debate was conducted amongst the participants, allowing them to argue out whether a career in IT was the best way to progress in today’s fast paced world. The YLC proved to be a memorable experience for trg tech as well as all those involved.
Through such initiatives trg tech hopes to open young minds to future leadership endeavours and provide support to Pakistan’s tech-savvy generation.
